This event is a platform for a wide-ranging discussion of the challenges and strategies around the empowerment of women and girls. A distinguished panel will discuss the World Bank’s ground-breaking book,Voice and Agency: Empowering Women and Girls for Shared Prosperity, in the context of their own experiences.

Speakers will include:

  • Dr. Judith Auerbach, Professor at UCSF School of Medicine
  • Dr. Musimbi Kanyoro, CEO and President of the Global Fund for Women
  • Erin Ganju, Co-founder and CEO of Room to Read
  • Dr. Jeni Klugman, Senior Adviser, The World Bank Group and Fellow, Kennedy School, Harvard University
