MHealth Conference: How can mobile technology improve health in low and middle income countries on Jan. 27th & 28th. Save the Date!

/ / Jobs and Internships, Opportunities

The explosive growth of mobile technology over the past decade has generated exciting new thinking around the potential of so called “mhealth” to improve health, with evidence beginning to emerge from high-income countries. However, the evidence base from low- and middle-income countries is weak. Accordingly, the University College London Institute for Global Health and the Umeå Centre for Global Health Research will hold a two-day symposium on the evidence of mHealth impact in resource-poor settings. This event will examine current debates around evidence within the fields of health systems and health education, with a focus on tangible health outcomes. Academics, health professionals, development practitioners, postgraduate students, the media and the public are invited to attend.
